Lilah wheeled her pink suitcase right up to Dr. Harrison.
She cleared her throat and said casually, "You can put that sign down now."
Dr. Harrison turned to check who was talking. Seeing just a teenager-looking girl, maybe seventeen or eighteen, he didn't bother responding.
So Lilah simply reached out and took the sign from his hands. "Seriously? This thing is way too flashy."
"Whoa, hey—what are you doing?" Dr. Harrison frowned instantly. "This sign's not bothering anyone. Why'd you grab it?"
"It's tacky," Lilah replied offhandedly.
"Tacky? Says who? I think it looks fine. What's your deal, just snatching people's stuff like that?"
Dr. Harrison quickly snatched the sign back, then glanced at his watch and muttered, "Where the heck is that senior... still not out."
He raised the sign again, craning his neck to look toward the terminal.
Lilah set her suitcase down with a thump, crossed her arms, and asked flatly, "The person you're picking up, how old are they? Guy or girl?"
