"Way better now." Gabriel sat up slightly, his face half-lit in the dim light. His deep eyes locked onto Lilah. "Grandma mentioned she might stop by at Ashbourne Manor."
"Really? When?" Under the flickering lights, Lilah's eyes sparkled with excitement like stars in the night sky.
Gabriel didn't answer right away.
He leaned back again, letting his handsome face fall back into the shadows. "Depends on what she decides."
