Chapter 33
As soon as Olivia returned to her small apartment, she dove straight into the task Harold had assigned her. However, after an entire day, she still hadn't made any progress.
Harold hadn't set a deadline, yet she couldn't help but feel restless. Olivia wanted to do it well, but her mind was completely blank.
This wasn't going anywhere. After some thought, she decided to go out for a walk and look for inspiration in nature.
After making up her mind, she went to a newly opened national park on her own. It was the weekend, so the place was crowded. Parents were there with their children, camping, picnicking, and flying kites.
Olivia's gaze landed on a little girl, who was clinging to her mother and acting coy. A dull ache arose in her chest. Then, she reminded herself that she had come here to clear her head, not to make herself feel worse.
She averted her gaze, and her heart lurched. Her body reacted before her mind did. Olivia had no idea where the burst of strength came from until
