“But I don’t regret it,” he added, his voice genuine. He wasn’t apologizing for what had happened. There was something commendable about how he let his wolf emerge so freely, even if it meant losing some control.
He leaned back and reached for a backpack, unzipping it and pulling out a tissue. With careful precision, he wiped away his excitement from my stomach and wrapped it in a plastic bag, likely to bury it and keep it hidden from any curious wolves who might stumble upon it and catch our scent.

“Hold on. Before you head back to the pack house, we should jump in the water. Check this out.” He handed me a bottle of body wash. The scent was nothing extraordinary, which made me wonder if Tatiana had been around recently.
