Chapter 7 My song was stolen

Alisha’s POV When I was hesitated whether I should ask help for Archie, Joey questioned closely, “Alisha, will Archie and his mother will come together, right?” No, he wouldn’t come. He even didn’t appear in our wedding anniversary, so how could he come here to celebrate your birthday? What’s more, I never informed Archie this thing, and I bet he wouldn’t remember your birthday. How should I answer Joey’s question? I wanted to cheat Joey that Archie was too busy to attend his birthday party, but I was afraid that Joey might call Archie personally to invite him. Then Joey must know I wanted to leave Archie. Evita added, “Dad, maybe Alisha ignored your words totally. Or, Archie is unsatisfied with Alisha, so he vents his anger on our pack. Dad, I warned you before, it wasn’t a good idea to allow Alisha to be Archie’s wife!” Joey squinted after hearing Evita’s words, and then he became impatient with my silence, snapping, “Now that you don’t care about the Black Furies and me, you needn't come back later.” “No! You have no right to stop me from coming back!” I irritated with Joey’s threaten. “I am the Alpha of the Black Furies! Follow my orders, or get out of my pack forever!” Joey growled. I glared at Joey, “Don’t forget that I am the Luna of the Golden Crest! You cannot bear the resulte for offending Archie, right?” Joey frowned immediately with clenched fist. Today was not a good time to come to an open break with Joey, so I tried to cool myself down and performed, “Sorry, Joey, I overreacted just, for I am so mad with Evita who has hurt my heart harshly. I have informed Archie, and he promised that he will attend your birthday party.” Joey turned happy with answer, “That’s great! The Alpha of the Golden Crest will bring great honor for our pack!” Then he continued with a cheesy smile, “Alisha, you’re Evita’s cousin, you are supposed to be tolerant. She was kidding with you just, not to offend you, so forgive and forget it. After all, we are your family who will always stand for you!” “Well, You’re right. I have forgiven her.” I nodded. “But you should teach her. At your birthday party, there will be many noble guests. If Evita offends other like today, it will bring great trouble for the Black Furies.” I reminded Joey out of kindness. “Stop talking nonsense!” Evita shouted angrily. “Just like this. Evita, you’re too rude! How can you shout so loudly at others? Uncle Joey, you must find a manner teacher for Evita. Or she might lose your face on the party.” Joey seemed to accept my suggestion, looking at Evita with disapproval. I didn’t want to stay here anymore and took this chance to leave. Whatever, I must have Archie to work with me to cheat Joey. I regretted that I treated him badly this morning. If I knew I had to beg him now, I would … would still NOT allow this bastard insult me! He was too mean this morning! Moon Goodness, please bless me! I took a deep sigh and then called Archie, but the phone was declined immediately. What’s wrong? I called him again, but it was declined too. I frowned. Is it inconvenient for him to answer the phone now? Maybe he was on a meeting? I frowned and then texted him, “Archie, could you please do me a favor?” His message came in immediately, “Huh, which woman said that she didn’t want to see me anymore?” I ignored his words and continued texting, “Please, this is important to me. Only you can help me now.” "If my memory serves, we just quarreled this morning.” I closed my eyes to suppress my anger, “If you agree to attend my uncle Joey’s birthday party with your mom and don’t tell our things to them, I'll give you 10 thousand dollars.” “Why do you think you can persuade me with money?” I forgot this bastard never lacked money. Damn! "What would it take for you to help me?" I became anxious. If Archie refused to help me this time, Joey must doubt me and find my secret. At that time, grandma would be in danger. I felt like waiting for a long time that his reply finally came. "Remember, you are begging me to help you, so you owe me one." "Deal!" Great! The most important thing now for me is to settle this matter first, and if worse comes to worst in the future, I would simply deny it later. Archie's next message came soon, "So when will you come back?" I stared at this message and wondered why did he ask so? Is he missing me over these days? My heart became fast and replied, "Why do you want me to go back?" "I can't get used to the food Mireya makes." Fuck! This bastard just cared about eating! You are not a wolf but a pig! After all, he helped me to solve a big problems just now, it was not a big deal to make a meal for him. When I was planning what to cook, I got a call from Nova. "What's up?" "Alisha, the bitch Erma stole your song! I got the news from the music director just now. He said he loved your voice and hoped to collaborate with you, having you sing this song. However, he was forced to sell the song's copyright to Erma. I guess it must be Erma's suggar daddy! That bitch!" I was completely stunned after hearing this. Although it was pity for me to lose a chance to sing my song, I could comfort myself. After all, I managed to sell my song and get money. The most heartbreaking thing was that I figured out that, it was Archie who helped Erma to plunder my song and chance. I have been used to this since I married Archie. No matter when Erma encountered difficulties, Archie always lends a hand to her; no matter what Erma wanted, Archie would send it to her. In his eyes, Erma was his treasure, while I was nothing. I mocked myself, just a few minutes ago I had fantasies about him and worried he couldn't eat well after I left. That was so stupid. Alisha, moved forward and got rid of this terrible marriage! Archie's message came again, "When exactly are you coming back?" I turned off my phone and threw him out of mind and stopped thinking about him anymore. I would never go back!
