Rachel POV Moonglow Pack Territory Beta Carson joined me in the backseat of the rental car which I thought a strange choice. I dismissed my concern over his motivation as I realized he would have had to ride with Art breathing on the back of his neck if he'd taken the passenger seat up front. After his blunt force assault method of greeting the locals, I realized I wouldn't want Art breathing down my neck in a confined space either. I wondered if the Alpha Council taught their Inspectors to be confrontational as a method of gaining the truth faster or if Art was simply his own beast. I didn't know how to ask him without being offensive or embarrassing myself by appearing too interested in him.
