Chapter 8
I remained on the balcony for a very long time until the tightly shut door in the room burst open again suddenly.
Cyril and Cedric were back again.
Cyril stood at the door. At the sleeves of his expensive shirt was a new blood stain which was black in color and emitting a foul stench.
"Just earlier, Elena threw up blood again."
Cedric marched over and—without even giving me the chance to talk—grabbed my hair, forcing me to raise my head.
"Bitch, how could you do this to Elena? If you dare show up in front of her in the future, not to mention Cyril, even I won't let you off!"
"I didn't—"
There was the sound of a slap as Cedric flung his palm across my face, cutting off my explanation.
"How dare you talk back? Looks like the lesson we showed you earlier was too lenient, and you think that we were just kidding."
