Chapter 3: True Identity

"You..." Heidi turned to look at her and found that she was wearing a custom-made luxury Camouflage Dress. The existence of the werewolves was a secret. Only a few human leaders knew about them. Therefore, once the werewolves’ existence was exposed, it would definitely provoke human's attack. In order not to be discovered, the werewolves in lower class might not leave their Pack for the rest of their lives. But the ones in upper middle class would wear a special Camouflage Dress to blend into the human society. Camouflage Dress was a coat made of a special cloth on human's materials, which could cover up the wolf smell and other characteristics of the user. It could also mislead the machines that human beings used to detect a werewolf. It was a luxury object in the werewolf society and was very expensive. Although Heidi was Ethan's sister, her only Camouflage Dress was the most ordinary one. She had been complaining to Ethan as it was making hard for her to blend in properly to human world and have fun. However, she observed that the Camouflage Dress that Della wore was the same style as the one at the Paris Fashion Week a few days ago. That Camouflage Dress had been very popular recently. Even the Luna from Alpha King had one, so countless werewolves and aristocrats scrambled for it, but it was still difficult to buy. "Your clothes are fake, aren't they? Della, listen, don't hold your head too high. Go and cook now. Lucy has asked for a vacation to go home. I don't want to eat a take out," she ordered. Looking at her domineering appearance, Della could not suppress the grievance in her heart any much longer. She threw the check on Heidi's face and said, "Look, I won't serve you anymore! Heidi, do your friends know your true nature? Open your eyes wide and see how despicable you are for treating a Luna as a servant!” "You... How dare you curse me!" Heidi looked at her in disbelief. Over the years, it was the first time that Della had treated her like that. "I was scolding you, but so what, Heidi? If I were you, I would learn how to be smarter. You looked like an idiot without saying anything when you went out. If your brother died, the whole Blue Moon Pack would immediately sell you to a rogue pack," Della uttered with a sharp tongue. Heidi was stunned and didn't know how to respond. After Della left, she vowed after a long while of recovery. "Della, wait for me. I'll complain about you to my brother!" At the Gordon Group building under the name of Blue Moon Pack. The door of the CEO's office was pushed open. With a check in her hand, Heidi pounded on Ethan's desk. "Brother, Della is too arrogant. She scolded me!" "She's back?" Ethan's eyes were full of expectation. "Well, she just came back home. She said she wanted to reject you." Heidi didn't realize it until she looked at the thing in her hand. "No, she has no one to rely on outside, but she really wants to reject you. And is this check fake? There are so many zeros on it..." "Shut up." Ethan started to have a headache because of her noise. Every zero on the paper was like a knife being plunged in his heart. Was she really going to continue with the rejection? Where did she get the money? Did ... Raid was so anxious that he gritted his teeth and said, "Ethan, you drove our mate away. Our mate! I am warning you, don't think that you can just do whatever you want! Don't you know what this rejection means to us?" "Shut up!" Ethan held the check tightly with his fingers, and his knuckles turned white. "What else did she say?" Heidi didn't dare to say anything more and lowered her head. Looking through the documents, Ethan’s face darkened. "Brother?" Heidi asked tentatively. "Does she want to embarrass you and pretend to pay you back with an empty cheque? Maybe her purpose was to get more money from you.” Ethan bit his lower lip and tried hard not to scold his stupid sister. How could anyone give money to swindle for it? Only her idiot sister would think of such a thing. Noticing that Ethan didn't look good, Heidi thought that he was getting mad at Della, so she exaggerated, "Brother, she is jealous that you love Katie. She knows that she has no way out, so she came up with this idea. She wants others in our pack to laugh at you. Don't be fooled!" Della thought that everything was over and she only needed to wait for the next full moon night, but to her surprise, as soon as she got home, she received a call from Melvin, Ethan's Beta and assistant. "Miss Gordon, about the rejection process, I will talk to you in detail on behalf of Alpha..." Melvin used to sneer at Della, but at this time, his tone was surprisingly polite. "It's Miss Dalton. My last name is no longer Gordon." He was rendered speechless. "What else do you want to talk about?" With the phone in her hand, Melvin looked at the man beside him carefully. "Miss... Dalton, Alpha has prepared thirty million in cash and a house property as compensation for you." Della snorted at what she heard. "Is he stupid? I have paid him back with every penny he had spent on me. I won't ever ask for a penny from Blue Moon Pack in my life." Melvin couldn't understand what was going on. Every time an Alpha would his Luna, she would usually ask for compensation. But, Ethan, who his Alpha, took the initiative to compensate and was even scolded. Feeling the murderous eyes on him, Melvin wiped the sweat on his forehead and continued, "This is Alpha's decision. Miss Dalton, please accept it." "I don't accept it." Della hung up the phone decisively. In the past few years, when she lived in the Blue Moon Pack, she had been the Luna nominally, but in fact, she had been doing the servants' work instead. She had a lot of money, so she didn't want to ask money from him as she didn't want to be like a servant who had to serve him after taking his money. However, Ethan and everyone from the Blue Moon Pack didn't think they owe her. After hanging up the phone, she picked up her car key. She had made an appointment with Jaden yesterday so she could learn everything about her pack and their businesses. Walking into the garage, Della took a deep breath. Now… she’s back to her original life.
