Rosalie’s POV
A small jolt woke me from my sleep.
When I sat up, I quickly realized the boat was swaying from side to side, leaving an uncomfortable feeling in my stomach.
I had known I’d probably get seasick, but I had hoped I would be one of the fortunate ones who didn’t.
“Ugh…” I groaned, walking toward the bathroom.
Splashing water on my face, I tried to wash away the grime of my recent adventures, hoping it would somehow draw the sickness from me. It helped—briefly. But the moment I stepped back out into the room, the nausea returned in full force.
I tried to remember all the things I’d read in my books that might help, but nothing worked.
Deciding I needed fresh air, I tied my hair into a ponytail and put on some casual clothing, including a chunky knit sweater. Before heading to the deck, I also slipped on dark sunglasses—just to be extra careful. I knew I was likely safe, but there was no harm in being discreet.
