Muffled laughing roused the female from her sleep. With bleary eyes, she peered around the room between elongated blinks, lids still heavily. The book Arias had been reading to her now sat on a table in front of her, a piece of paper marking the page where he left off. Though it was in his language and she was unable to understand what the novel was about, she found enjoyment in just listening to him speak and he didn't seem to mind reading it aloud to her.
