"Huh? What are you doing?" Serena instinctively tensed up the moment she heard Matthew say he was opening the door. She was 100% sure he wouldn't actually go out and buy her pads, so this sudden move really caught her off guard. "I'm opening the door. I got what you asked for," Matthew replied, slightly out of breath and clearly annoyed. His tone was clipped, and his chest heaved from the run. The guy was thirty and had never in his life done anything like this. Good thing they were overseas—at least there was no one here to recognize him and ruin his reputation. Serena’s eyes widened in surprise. “Wait, wait—okay! But you have to close your eyes first!” She couldn’t let him see her like this. That would be way too embarrassing. Matthew was fuming—seriously? After all that, she still didn’t trust him? What did she think he was, some creep? But with no response from the bathroom, he sighed and shut his eyes. "Okay, I'm not looking. Open the door." Then he shoved a whole basket of pads t
