Aurora's POV
I wrapped my hair in a bun and smiled at my outfit for the last time, loving what I saw. Bright yellow denim skirt with a white blouse tucked in was exactly what I needed to uplift my mood.
After what happened with Xavier, I was doing my best to avoid being in the same space with him, except if it was necessary. I didn't mind his words, but the way he had looked at me that night? I could never erase the memory from my head.
I sighed as I pulled the door open, and a gasp escaped my lips. There was a gift box and a bag with a card seeping from it. I glanced around before picking it and my lips curved into a small smile as I opened the bag and saw my favourite perfumes.
The card read Xavier. I laughed. He had left it here last night after I shut the door in his face. I felt a little sorry for what I had done, but I needed him to feel the pain I carried in me.
I knew I could hurt him except through my silence at him, and obviously, it worked. I checked the gift box and let out
