Chapter8 THE GORGEOUS KIDNAPPER

Joy’s POV If Lex had been wild before, he was cyclonic now. It seemed like he loved blood more than vampires did! One rogue wolf’s teeth grazed across my neck as we jumped towards each other, drawing a really thin stream of blood which healed pretty quickly but that maddened Lex to explosive limits all of a sudden and before I knew it, six wolves were lying dead with my attacker laying in the worst angle possible. I had to concede that the Water Moon Pack’s Alpha hardly lacked in any quality when it came to beauty, charm or war. Lex and I moved in remarkable sync and it was hard to imagine that such a muscular and large wolf could be so agile as we criss-crossed over each other mid air to attack five wolves at a time. Soon enough, dozens of piles of rotting corpses lay around us and when I thought that the unexpected battle was over, I heard a desperate cry for help from the other side of the forest. “Owowoooo,” I suddenly heard my Beta’s wolf’s agony filled howl.
