Chapter 18 EVIL PLOT

VEGA "So this is where you leave? How disgusting." Vega knew it would not end well, but she would swallow every form of insult thrown at her at this point. "So, why are you here, Victoria?" Victoria walked past her to sit herself down on the couch. "I came to warn you to keep your mouth shut if you know what's going for you." "Is that a threat?" Vega asked, standing in front of her sister. "Well, we will see about that being a threat pretty soon, if you do not do as I say." "You know, Victoria, I think you are not enjoying being a Luna." This made Victoria glare at her in anger. 'What do you mean?" "If you were having it all good as a Luna, then why are you pretending to be me in front of Reynold's sister?" This made Victoria stand to her feet at once. "You are the one pretending to be me, don't forget that!" Vega raised a brow, it seemed her sister still did not understand what she's into. "You should stop now, Victoria, things will get messy very soon if you don't." "Are you threatening me now!?" Victoria yelled. "It's a warning, not a threat." Victoria smirked wickedly as she walked around the living room. "You probably don't know what I'm capable of, Vega!" "Of course I know, sending your mate to stalk me and making him do your shady deals." Victoria gasped in horror. "I've told you to stop investigating me, this is for your own good, Vega!" "How's it for my good? What, you are going to do, kill me too?" "Since when did you become this ruthless for fame, Victoria?" "I will do whatever it takes to remain the Luna Queen, do you understand!?" Victoria yelled straight into Vega's face. "Does father know what you've become?" Vega just wasn't going to let things slide, knowing about how Victoria went about killing those who found out about her secret relationship was disheartening. "Don't you dare bring father into this, I will make you pay if words ever get out about me." Victoria stormed out of Vega's apartment after warning her. Vega sat down on the couch, she felt so bad seeing how her sister was slowly becoming a monster. What was she to do now? She should have known Victoria would never listen to her. Who would she turn to for help now? It wasn't as though she could just go to the Lyman King and lay her complaints. What type of king was he, by the way? Wasn't he supposed to be tailing his wife and her activities? Of course, he wouldn't, how silly of her! He trusted Victoria to an extreme, and he thought she's the bad one. How could life be this cruel to her? Moon goddess, tell me what to do? Things were getting out of hand and there's nothing that I could do. Anger and frustration clouded Victoria's mind as she drove into the secret hotel where she and Ivan always met. Before now, she tried not to harm Vega at all because she still considered her as family, but from the look of things, she suspected that Vega would sell her out soon. When she got into the room, she saw Ivan lying on the bed waiting for her. She ran into his embrace upon seeing him. "Hey baby, what's wrong?" "It's my sister, she makes me feel threatened, and I'm losing it." Victoria said, sobbing into Ivan's shoulders. Ivan smirked evilly, he knew this was his chance. "Why don't we get rid of her now? That way you won't have to be scared of anything." Ivan had been helping Victoria get rid of those who found them together. This wasn't just for Victoria, but for himself as well. He couldn't afford to be found out by the Lycan king when he hadn't made plans yet. He wasn't pleased with the fact that Victoria was not keeping her promise. She had promised him countless times that she would help him get into the company, but she's yet to fulfil her promise. He was getting impatient and he couldn't wait for too long. "You think killing her will make me feel safe?" She asked Ivan. "But of course, have you forgotten that you told me she was constantly trying to steal everything from you, and you hate her so much?" Victoria nodded in agreement. "Good, so I think we should get rid of her, I'm sure no one will care about that." Victoria suddenly realised Ivan was right, indeed nobody would care about Victoria's death, not even her father because he despised her very much. Isn't this just her luck that she could get rid of the thorn in her flesh without having to feel guilty or scared of someone finding out about her death? She agreed with Ivan that it was best to get rid of Vega for good. Meanwhile, Ivan wasn't going to do that just yet, he had a greater plan. He was going to make Victoria understand that she had no one else to rely on but him. She needed to be pushed in order to agree to his demands. Ivan secretly arranged for his best snipers and warriors to be prepared to launch an attack on white snow pack. He was going to kill Alpha Blake, this way, she would have no one to rely on but him. Reynold was out of the question because she was never going to do anything to make him suspect her. Meanwhile, Vega had resumed her training. Today was the first time for her to be seen in All Stars magazine. It was also her debut in the outside world, and she couldn't be happier. Just as she was having a makeover, Aria came in, she smiled upon seeing her. Over the past months, they had become very close, and they related more like sisters. "Wow, you look so beautiful." Aria immediately signalled for the makeup artists to leave the room so she could have a conversation with her sister-in-law. Aria had never told Reynold about Victoria working for her modelling agency because Victoria told her not to. "I know my brother will be very proud and surprised to see you in the magazine." Vega immediately paled, it never crossed her mind that Reynold would get to see her face in the magazine. This somehow made her proud of herself, though. When Aria saw her expression, she couldn't help but chuckle. "You don't have to worry, I won't tell him, but I'm uncertain if he won't get to see your magazine considering the fact that he's famous." Vega knew that it was impossible for him not to see those magazines. She wondered if he would notice the difference between her face and Victoria's if he saw the magazine. She had long made up her mind that she didn't care what the Lycan king might think when he finally got to see her in the magazine. After all, it isn't her fault, also it wasn't as though she was doing something wrong. Rather, it is his fault that he never told his sister about his Mate's being an identical twin. She can't imagine what his reaction will be, when he finally finds out about his sister's making an acquaintance with her. Meanwhile, Aria had a plan up her sleeve, she was going to surprise her brother with Victoria's magazine when they were all at home. How terrific it will be! She's sure her brother will be very jealous to find out his mate was going to get famous without his help. "Do you mind if we go home together today, Victoria?" Aria asked excitedly. The question only made Vega panic, her heart started beating erratically, she had never thought of the possibility that she would have to go home with her supposed sister-in-law sooner or later. Oh no, she had to think of an excuse very quickly. "Uhm, I have some other place to be, so... I don't think going home together will be possible." Vega replied with a fake smiling face. Oh, please, goddess help me, I'm not about to get busted. Vega prayed silently in her heart. "Oh. Okay, I understand, I know you are always busy." Aria smiled back. "I guess I will have to get going then, see you at home later." Aria waved at Vega before leaving. The moment Aria left, Vega breathed a sigh of relief. Thanks to the goddess, she didn't suspect anything. Meanwhile, the moment Aria left the room, she began to suspect something was off with Victoria. Why did she suddenly become nervous when she asked to go home together with her? Her reaction was strange, it's just a simple request to go home. Aria thought to herself. When she got home, she was surprised to find her brother at home. "Didn't you go to work today, brother?" She asked, thinking about the surprise she had for him. "I came back earlier, had to solve some matters." Aria suddenly raised a brow at her brother. "Is something wrong?" "Don't worry about that Aria, it's not relevant." "Well, okay if you say so." She said before going up to her room. She had orders for a sample of the magazine to be sent to her once they were done with the shoot. Reynold did not want to get his sister worried about what's happening in the werewolf world, he would keep her out of the power struggle going on in the harem in the best way he could. He's been getting reports that some suspicious werewolves have been showing up lately. He couldn't help but suspect that these werewolves had something to do with the ones who caused the deaths of his parents, and if his suspicions were correct, then it only meant they were in danger once again. He had to double security around his sister and Victoria. Not only that, but he was scared that they might become the enemy's first target. Just when he thought peace was at his doorstep. Not knowing that chaos was only looming. When evening came, Aria was informed of the arrival of the magazine delivery personnel. She ran out of the house to get the package, and just then, she saw Victoria's car coming into the castle. Oh no, she had promised Victoria not to show the magazine to her brother, but she has to, this way they would get closer. She wasn't blind to the fact that they had suddenly grown distant from each other, and she wasn't happy about it. If this was the only way to make her brother notice her, then she would gladly make it work. She ran into the house as quickly as possible, she went straight to her brother's room but didn't find him there. This meant he had gone to his study. Immediately, she headed for his study and found him well focused on some files she had never seen before. When Reynold saw his sister barging into his study, he immediately placed another file on the one he was studying. Aria noticed this but didn't say a word. She was just too excited to show him the magazine. "I'm so sorry for barging in on your brother, but I think you need to see this." Aria placed the magazine on her brother's desk. Reynold took a quick glance at the magazine, thinking she was the one in it. He was about to take his eyes off when he noticed it wasn't her. He immediately took the file from the desk to look at the person in the magazine. "What is this?" "It is what it is." Aria said chuckling. Reynold, took a careful look at the magazine just to be certain of who he was seeing. Could this be Victoria? No, no, no he knew Victoria wasn't that interested in modelling. "Isn't Victoria looking so beautiful?" Aria said with a smiling face. Damn it? Reynold could tell that the woman in the magazine wasn't Victoria but Vega, he could tell that much. "Where did you get this from?"
