Author's POV
Lucian stopped him before he could go any further. He raised a hand up, “I don't want to hear it. Not right now anyway" he looked down at his watch in show. It was a lie, just like everything Cassian had told him before. “I have less that five minutes to get somewhere, could we do it sometime else?" He didn't wait for an answer before walking briskly away.
Cassian remained standing there, watching his brother disappear around the corner - lonely and dejected. He had thought this was the chance to get rid of the guilt but clearly not. Maybe he would say it to Dorian.
But even the though of it broke him even more. More than Lucian, he couldn't imagine breaking Dorian's heart like that. They had a different kind of bond, he was the glue that held them all together. If he lost Dorian, he wasn't sure what he would do.
As Lucian walked away, the anher worsened itself. He couldn't believe it. His brother was being a coward. He was going to tell the truth now,
