Rhea shook her head in disbelief. She read it in his eyes, desperation, need and want. But she wasn't sure what it was. Was it for what she could give him or for her? Something told her it was the former.
The lies, she read all of them now in his expression. “You lied about everything. You brought me here for something" it was the moonlight, as if playing on her team that shone some light on the steel bowl at the corner of the room.
Lucian looked at it and realized his mistake. He had made it by putting it there. Just then, he heard the bamg of the door. He turned to see that Dorian was trying to break it open. His eyes went to the pot and they watered.
