“Let me take him home to bury,” I said. The doctor looked at me in shock.
Something about the directness of my works, the curtness of my tone seem to shock him.
He stood there like a flailing fish. It annoyed me that he stood there instead of moving along with those things he calls legs to carry out my order. Humans, they have this annoying tendency to act foolish, this insane urge to not obey orders, if this was a werewolf hospital, it would be different. A werewolf would know not to waste my time. A werewolf would have been made to understand from the day of his birth that his or her life belongs to me, that his or her entire being was offered to me on the day that they took up the Green wood mark.
