Chapter 94 A FEW DAYS
Rhea's POV
A few days had gone by since my realization and slowly the loneliness was getting to me. There was hardly anybody that came to see me. If the maids came, they simply dropped the plates and left.
After eating, somehow I became sleepy and then the next day I woke up to an empty room with no plates. I didn't have to be a genius to know that I was being drugged.
But even these past few days hadn't gotten rid of the ache in my bones or the whispers that reached out to me. That was what I meant by the loneliness getting to me because sometimes I was too awake for it to be a dream.
The voice was always there, either whispering or calling out to me and I couldn't reach back- no matter how hard I tried. “Rhea" it called. “Help me," it cried. “Please” it begged.
On and on, there was nothing I could do to stop it. What about the random bouts of pain? Sometimes in my chest, sometimes in my head. It hit me hard and so many times I had blanked out before waking up to normalcy.
