Irene’s POV I pulled off Kaius immediately as I heard my father’s approaching footsteps. “Dad?” I called and walked out of Kaius’s front. His huge frame had stopped Dad from seeing what we were doing. I was glad, because right now I was freaking out. If he had seen us, I would have lost my mind. I mean what would I tell him was the reason for kissing the Wolf King. Kaius turned to us and wiped his lips with his thumb, Dad was observing him and then he took my hand. “Irene, are you okay?” Smiling, I replied, “Yes Dad.” He threw one more glance at Kaius, before he led me inside. Just before I crossed the corner, I looked back at Kaius and he winked at me. I gritted my teeth and looked away, my cheeks burning up. “Sit here, I’ll bring the fruits.” Dad said and he walked away.
