Irene's POV “Kaius.” I faced him, grinning sheepishly. He came up to me and took my hand before he pulled me up into a tight hug. “I missed you.” He kissed my head. Words couldn't form from my parted lips. My eyes watered as I took in his scent. I had thought that I was never going to see him again. I knew about my resolution that I made, but fear had managed to creep into my heart when I heard he was with Dad.
