Of course he would think that. It's not something to take lightly when you want to tell a person who you truly are. They may think you're a lunatic at first but after they discover that you weren't lying, who knows what their reaction may be. Some might even expose your secret to the whole world or simply run away to another state and hope to god that they will never encounter you ever again in their lifetime. But I wasn't either of those. I didn't want to tell anyone else about him because if he trusted me enough with this secret, I would never tell a soul. The second one almost pained me, which was a surprise really. Just the mere thought of never seeing him again made me feel empty inside, hollow, as if his mere presence was the only thing I'll ever need to continue on with my life until I took my last breath.
I gave him a small smile, standing up and making my way towards where he laid. I sat beside him, snuggling up against his fur and feeling the instant sparks ignit
