I ran over and fell on my knees next to her limp body. I lifted her head and put it on my knees thinking that something had to bring her back. There wasn't a chance in the hell I was living that she was dead, that they were both dead.
I held her lifeless body in my hands when the dread washed over me threefold and I looked up at Darian’s apathetic face.
“Where is she?” I breathed and wiped the tears. My voice wasn't louder than a scared whisper but I tried again.
“Where is she?” It was louder, he heard me but he stood still, not acknowledging me in the slightest.
“WHERE IS SHE?!” I growled so the base of the house shook under our feet and everything on the walls fell on the floor.
Trixy was in the front, our eyes were evidence of our rage and my canines extended while my claws came out.
I heard his voice in the background while I ran up the stairs to the second floor where her bedroom was.
