Chapter 4

Dalise’s POV I groaned out in pain and curled up into a ball. My god I know pain, this pain was something else. I admit though I can feel my powers coming back to me at least. I opened my eyes and saw my whole family surrounding me with worried looks. All I could muster was a smile to them, but that didn't ease their worries. "Oh hey...everyone?" I said as I sat up slowly. "Are you okay!?" My mom asked as she grabbed my hand. I nodded my head and squeezed her hand. "I'm fine I feel better, I'll heal in no time." I reassured her as much as possible. I can feel three men eyes literally stabbing my head. My father's, Toby and Jay. This is not going to end well. "I'm killing that bastard and that's final." Toby said with such lifeless eyes and I shivered a bit from his murderous aura. When Toby get's mad it's a whole different mad. He becomes a monster, he first shifted when there was a rogue attack. One of the wolves attacked me and next thing you know I saw red. No one expected Toby to turn into a ruthless wolf. He was such a sweet delicate boy, I don't know how he became like this. "Well like I said I-" I stopped and felt an ominous presence. Everyone in the room stiffened, this smell is not from our pack. Who dares to cross our land? "Rogue." Jay and dad practically ran out of the room. I jumped out of the bed and the dizziness hit. I shook my head trying to clear it. My mom grabbed my hand stopping me. "It's ok mom I'll be fine. Now you stay inside because it's dangerous." I gave her a firm look and she reluctantly let me go. I ran outside and saw the 4 rogues. Their smell was vile, when people aren't in your pack especially if they have ill intent it's unbearable. I covered my nose with my arm, god I need to smell an air freshener or something. My father and Jay already shifted into their wolves, Toby joined them alongside them. I would shift but I do not have the energy for it right now. I felt electricity run through my right arm and I prepared to attack. I got this ability from my mom, and some others too. Jay and Toby have electricity too but that's it. "Yea get them!" I snapped my head behind me to see mom cheering us on. I looked at her dumbfounded, didn't I tell her to stay inside? Sometimes I think my mom is still a child I swear I think she is. I waved my hand towards her to make a little force field for her own safety. "Dalise watch out!" I felt the wolf running towards me. I build up the electricity in my hand even more and grabbed the wold snout. I electrified him and made the wolf fall to the ground. I growled at it and it whimpered under me. I admit I have a lot pent up anger right now. "You four must be crazy to even think about trespassing into our lands." I glowered at the wolf and I can see fear instill into it's eyes. I gave the wolf a crazed smile and let go of it's snout. Toby and Jay were right besides me. "Have at it." I said I turned on my heels. I heard the rogues wolf's cries of anguish and I nodded my head. No one leaves alive if you trespass. "That's what you rogues get!" My mom cheered jumping in the air. I gave her look and she totally ignored me. "Didn't I tell you to stay inside you crazy women!" I yelled at her, my mom jumped and had a cheesy smile plastered all over her lips. "I mean I was just showing you guys my love and support." My mom grumbled like a little kid. I scoff in amazement she's really is crazy. "Yeah showing your love and support can get you killed! Next time stay in the house!" I lectured her. My dad put a hand on my shoulder giving me a sympathetic look. I shook my head and sighed out. First thing that happens when I wake up and this happens. This family is definelty something else. They aren't normal either. I honestly need a nap. **** I was standing in a dark room, I couldn't see anything at all. I titled my head to the side, isn't this just weird. Am" I dreaming or is this reality right now? "Where..am I?" I questioned as I looked around confused. "A dream" Someone whispered into my ear and I looked to my side to see no one there. "Who are you?" Then a dark figure emitted from the shadows. I was on defensive now. This is a dream it's not real, it feels real though. "Someone that's dangerous." I saw a sharp silver knife in his hand. I growled at him giving him a warning. The shadow figure attacked me and the silver knife cut into my upper arm. The pain is too real to be fake. I need to wake up, I bit down into my hand and the taste of blood filled my mouth. I opened my eyes and sat up from my bed quickly. My hand was in mouth, a little trail of blood ran down my hand. I looked around my room and found no one. There was some pain in my arm and saw the cut. I felt the cold breeze in my room and notice it was open when it wasn't earlier. I ran to my window and saw the shadow figure. I grabbed a knife and threw it at him. He dodged it easily and it just pissed me off even more. I jumped out of my window landing onto the ground. I grabbed the knife and started to run into the forest. He had a weird scent to him which made it easier for me to follow him. I kept running chasing after him and I was getting closer and closer towards him. I'm going to kill him for sure I do not care. The man stopped abruptly making me slide to a stop. He turned around and had an evil smile. I saw the silver knife in his hands. Where could he have obtain it. Silver knives have many regulations for safety of our kind. I held the knife tightly ready to attack him. The shadow came towards me, then it disappeared. I looked around for it, I heightened up my senses. One stab to the heart and I'm dead. It was quiet and all I could hear were the night bugs and some animals lurking around. There was a sudden rustling sound to my life. Something shiny caught the corner of my eyes and I jumped back in time to avoid my heart. The silver knife was lodge into my shoulder. Pain immediately erupted through my arm, I grabbed it and took it out of my shoulder. "Ouch must of hurt."He said sarcastically. "Silver knives really? That's just low, even if you were human." I snorted. More knives were thrown at me, I dodge them easily. I can't use my right arm right now since it's completely numb. I have to hurry and get this over with. I sneaky threw one of my knives at him and it actually hit him. I saw black blood drip onto the floor. I kicked up a rock making sure to aim it towards him to distract him. I took out my claws ready to strike him down, however he suddenly disappeared into the ground. I gritted my teeth in annoyance, piece fo shit. What a dirty move from him. There was a rustling sound and I put my guard went up immediately,I was ready to attack. That annoying scent filled my nose causing me to calm down. Stupid defense mechanism. A pure black wolf came out from behind the tree. It's fur glistened from the moonlight almost give it a bluish color. Brown eyes were staring at me and I felt like I was in a trance just for a moment. A wave of energy hit me indicating this was indeed Niall. Realization came to me, I ran into his territory on accident as I chased that stupid shadow figure. "Wow look at his wolf." Addie whistled. Oh now she comes out, I see how it is. I rolled my eyes, she's ridiculous. "Sorry I didn't mean to trespass, I was chasing something. No worries I'll leave now." I said calmly. When I was about to leave I heard a low growl. I furrowed my eyebrows, he growled at me. I was being civil here and he growled at me? I snapped my head around and noticed the brown eyes turned silver. Oh I see his wolf took over, I walked over to his wolf cautiously. I reached my hand out towards him and rubbed it's head. A little whine came from his mouth and I laughed a bit. Niall's wolf is way cooler than him. His mouth near my shoulder and licked my wound, cute but disgusting. "Thanks." I smiled at him. The silver eyes slowly turned back to brown and that was my cue to leave. I pulled back my hand and walked away from him. I need to go the pack doctor in secret. I don't need anyone to know about this yet until I get more clues.
