41~ Loss

Zoe My heart felt like it had been ripped out of my chest. No… James… the explosion sound. He’s ok…right? My heart hammered rapidly against my ribcage.  My chest felt heavy and my heart felt like it had jumped into my throat.  I did not want to think about who’s pack link had broken. I had to find James first…. I needed to confirm…. No!!!!! “Zee babes, what’s wrong?” Tiffany’s voice echoed in my ears but I could barely bring myself to pay attention to her.  “I need to ….I need to go.. Tiff,” I said, clutching Tiffany’s clothes as my eyes blurred with tears.  “Hey.. breathe.. Zoe.. tell me. Why are you like this?” She inquired but I muttered incoherently, not able to form full sentences.  The pang in my chest was suffocating…. A thought flashed through my mind and I came back to my senses. Picking up my phone, I dialed James’s line but only got an automatic recorded voice, saying it’s switched off.  My heart sank and my fingers trembled as I tried to dial the line again.  What the fuck
