"Didn't get it?" Adrian looked at Alyssa's confused face, a faint smile flickering in his eyes. "If you're the one driving, then technically I'm not taking you home." Alyssa: "…" She was completely speechless, unable to come up with even half a rebuttal. Adrian stood there like some smug rooster. "Any other problems?" Alyssa lightly shook her head. "N-no." She was already trapped in his logic maze, brain lagging hard. And honestly, if you parsed it out… it did kind of make sense. She didn't want to bother Adrian with giving her a ride, so if she drove, then he wasn't giving her a lift, right?
