Chapter 848 Take The Flowers?
“Oh my God, look! Isn’t that Sotiria Green?”
“Ah! It really is her! Isn’t she engaged to Mr. Larson? Why’s that man giving her flowers?”
“Don’t look so surprised. Doesn’t Sotiria have a brother? Maybe that guy’s her brother.”
“No way! Didn’t you hear? That man called her his wife.”
“What? Uh… Uh… Erm… Sotiria Green! Isn’t she going a little too far? Mr. Larson is handsome and rich. She’s lucky that Mr. Larson isn’t disgusted with her, yet she’s still doing these things in public. She’s gone too far!”
At least 50 people began to surround the already crowded shopping mall entrance immediately and began pointing at Sotiria.
Sotiria dearly wished that she could crawl into a hole.
Her eyes filled with resentment as she stared at Zachary.
“Mr. Connor, could you please have some decorum. If you keep this up… Mmm…”
She couldn’t continue the next part of her sentence because Zachary had firmly sealed her lips with his thin, addictive mouth.
Boom!
Her mind exploded.
She tried her best to push him away. However, the more she struggled, the more his strong, iron-like arms held her even tighter, and his lips intensified their kiss, so much so that she could barely breathe.
It was getting increasingly difficult for her to breathe. Her consciousness was gradually slipping into a daze.
However, his boiling, flaming hot, and fragrant breath, which smelled like tea, was as intimidating as the sea yet was enchantingly deadly, pulling her slowly within.
More than ten seconds later, she had completely lost all willpower for resistance and allowed him to push her against the glass door, surrendering herself to his kiss.
His lips finally left hers after an unknown amount of time.
She, however, remained in a daze with her back against the glass door, her eyes staring fixedly ahead like a soulless doll.
Splat!
A banana peel fell on her head.
Only then was she startled back into reality.
She saw a woman in heavy makeup, pointing at her and yelling at her, “You sl*t, you’re a disgrace!”
“A leopard can never change its spots, Sotiria Green! Hey, you’ll always be a joke!”
“You disgraceful wh*re! What on earth does Mr. Larson see in you?”
“Sigh! You horrible, indecent woman. Oh, my heart aches for Mr. Larson…”
Some people were pointing at Sotiria and cursing at her. Some spat at her. Most people were staring at her with scorn in their eyes as if they were staring at a criminal who had been tied up and paraded along the streets.
Sotiria’s pallor changed from green to white.
And of all times, Zachary pushed the bouquet in front of her again. “Will you accept these flowers?”
“Yes!”
Sotiria, who was now extremely humiliated, resentfully snatched the bouquet away, threw it on the ground, and stomped on it a few times.
“Are you happy now?”
Zachary raised his dark, shapely brows and gently curled his lips. “Pretty much.”
Sotiria nearly had a stroke.
However, she really wasn’t in the mood for an argument with Zachary. She felt like a wretched mouse on the street. All she wanted to do was escape from the crowd’s loud jeering voices. She took a deep breath and ran out from the crowd.
“You d*mned wh*re! You’d better run, or I’ll beat you to death!”
