Aubrey's POV The rich aroma of sizzling bacon and fresh coffee pulled me from sleep, my nose twitching at the enticing scents. Sunlight streamed through unfamiliar windows, casting warm patterns across dark blue sheets that definitely weren't mine. I blinked, taking in the masculine space around me—the solid oak furniture, the subtle forest-green accents, the distinct lack of clutter. Knox's bedroom. My heart skipped as I realized I wasn't on the living room couch where I'd expected to wake up. *Someone got comfortable*, my wolf purred, clearly pleased with our current location. Stretching, I noticed I was wearing one of Knox's t-shirts, the soft black cotton hanging loose on my frame and smelling deliciously of him. The memories of last night flooded back—his hands, his lips, the way he'd looked at me like I was something precious and wild all at once. Following the mouthwatering scents, I padded barefoot down the hallway. The hardwood floors were warm beneath my feet, heated by whate
