Chapter 147 The Most Basic Form of Courtesy
Tristan looked up and glanced at Cressida before lowering his head as he continued fighting with the cucumber in his hand.
Cressida walked over to them, dumped her bag on the couch, and leaned against the doorframe helplessly, looking at Tristan, who looked like he didn't belong in the kitchen.
"You seem to have quite a lot of time on your hands, Mr. Leigh." Her tone was flat, with no hint of emotion. "Is Leigh Group about to go bankrupt? Is that why you decided to test out what it's like working in a kitchen?"
Tristan put the knife down and turned to look at Cressida. He answered her seriously, "It won't go bankrupt so soon. But once you've made enough money, you'll want to set some time aside to show off to your subordinates and also enjoy life as it is."
He said it so matter-of-factly that Cressida felt a lump in her chest. She'd met many shameless people in her life, but Tristan was on a whole other level altogether.
