Chapter 29

~ Gabriel’s POV ~ Once I reached Harper’s door, I started to feel a little nervous. I’m not sure why though. Taking a deep breath, I knocked. Harper opened the door. “Oh… come to tell me what I can and can’t do again alpha.” She said, never breaking eye contact with me. “No Harper, can I come in so I can explain.” I asked her. She stepped to the side and opened the door for me to walk in. I shut the door behind me but when I turned around, I noticed that Harper was wearing only a towel, and her hair was damp. She must have just gotten out of the shower. I swallowed deep. I was frozen with my eyes locked on her. My heartrate got faster as I thought about there being nothing but her under that towel. Harper blushed; her hands were clasped together as she sat on the edge of her bed. “I’m sorry I don’t have a robe. I was just looking through my things trying to find something to wear tonight.” She said to me while looking down. I walked near her, as I did, I heard her heartbeat get faster
