Chapter 45

 ~ Gabriel’s POV ~ I woke up to the sun beaming through my bedroom window. Last night felt like a nightmare dream. I turned to my right and Harper was still fast asleep. I leaned down and gave her a soft kiss. I don’t want to, but I have to face things today. I slowly moved off my bed and walked into my bathroom. I need to wash the filth from Thane’s cells off me. I looked at myself in the mirror. Shit, I knew I must look bad, but I could play a zombie in one of those movies. My mind went to Mika.  “Mika, where are you?” Nothing... I'm getting worried about him. I haven't heard from him in hours. I took off my clothes and threw them on the floor next to the hamper.
