Moira's POV
Dillan had already said goodbye to me and was about to leave. In fact, he was already sitting nicely behind the wheel, ready to pull the gear lever, but suddenly he stopped when he saw a black car pass us and Meddy wave from the open window.
He frowned and turned to me, who was still smiling.
“You seem to be familiar with them,” said Dillan, to which I replied with a shrug, putting both hands in my pants pockets. “It seems like he’s been watching me since yesterday. Me and you, to be exact.”
“Really? Do you feel that way?” I pressed, not understanding what he meant. “Even if it’s true, why would he do that?”
“I don’t know. Maybe he saw how close we are, so he needed to report it to his friend Jude,” Dillan replied. I rolled my eyes, snorted, and leaned against Dillan’s car, who finally decided to get out.
