Chapter 93
Author's POV
"I promise to take you shopping another time," Rhea said as they were driving home. Moira still couldn't forget Bella's stare, nor the hurtful words Morgan Haley had said about her. "Moira, are you okay?"
"Yes. I'm just thinking."
"Is it about what I said earlier? I'm sorry, Moira. I really didn't mean to–"
"No. It's not that. Morgan. I've always been able to ignore what people say, but when it's a comparison with Bella, especially since that man seems to want her so badly, it feels... I don't know. I don't understand what I'm feeling right now."
Rhea looked at Moira sympathetically, but didn't know what to do to make her feel better. She chose to remain silent in the end. Until they arrived at her house, she still didn't say anything.
"Call me anytime you need me to accompany you, okay?" said Rhea warmly, which was answered with a nod and a smile from Moira.
Rhea then entered the house after saying goodbye to Moira, and as she was about to drive away, her cell phone rang.
