Chapter Fourteen— Brutal denial Ivanna’s POV I stood there helplessly, watching them drag Jenny away. Tears fell from my eyes at a mad pace and a severe aching ran through the walls of my heart.  Surely, there were different levels to feeling shitty. This had to be the peak of it all. I felt like dying. I badly wanted the earth to crack open and take me. Because what the fuck? How could I be so useless and watch them take Jenny away? How couldn't I stop that from happening? After all, this was all my fault. She got into this messy fight with Mary because she was defending me. If she hadn't chosen to be my friend, if she hadn't defended me, if she had stayed away from me like everyone else, then this wouldn't have happened. It would be unfair and foolish of me to let Jenny suffer any longer in the cruel hands of Mary.  I knew Mary too well. There was no stopping her, and she also had Luna's backing, which meant she could do anything to Jenny and not get questioned for it. I had to do so
