Chapter Thirty-five. Let me go.
Ivanna's POV
His outburst had a lasting echo, making the hairs on my body stand in fright. I couldn't move or say a word. Silent tears left my eyes, and my heartbeat increased a ton.
"A lot of people call me a monster. But I never thought my mate would call me that too. Not when all I did was avenge her…"
"I didn't ask you to kill everyone…"
"But they deserved to die, Ivanna. All of them. I don't care if that makes me a monster. I don't care if you hate me for it. They deserved what they got. For all the shit they put you through."
His words didn't matter. The only thing on my mind was how he could ruthlessly end a whole pack. And how I should get away from here as soon as possible.
Nothing else mattered. Except for my escaping.
"What are you thinking?" Husky voice whispered into my ears.
"Oh God," I gave a sharp gasp, as he wrapped his arms around me, like a little, suffocating cage.
