Chapter Seventy-six: Rejection Ace's POV "You can't do this to me, mate," I pleaded. "Please hear me out and forgive me." Ivana sneered before replying, "I am done with you, Ace. I need you to accept my rejection right away." She averted her gaze. "But... I can't do that. How do you expect me to live without you? I want you, and you know I do love you, mate," I stumbled over my words, the feeling in my heart had worsened. "Love?" She snorted. "Mate? I am done with that bullshit." Her screams filled my office. She was angry. I knew what I did was wrong. That was selfish of me. Why did I do that in the first place? What have I done? The thoughts were racing through my head. I looked into her once beautiful eyes, eyes that had looked at me with nothing but love. Now, when I looked at her, there was no love, no happiness, it was just an icy stare. It was as if she shut out a part of her, the part that had once felt something for me. "Don't make me repeat myself, King Ace," she said coldly.
