Chapter 27

The movie played for about an hour and an hour, and I loved every minute of it. It was an olden day romance film called My Man Godfrey. It was one of those old black and white ones and it was pretty good. It wasn't a silent movie like they originally advertised. As the tape for that film got damaged but I really enjoyed the alternative movie they selected. My favourite part of the whole movie though was since Jake brought us here in this Ute. We sat at the back in a pile of blankets and in other words cuddled the whole time. Resting my head on his shoulder allowed me to hear his steady heartbeat. The sound was comforting and relaxed me to my core. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see all of the movie, since fortunately we spent much of the time talking to each other about ourselves.
