He is nuts, and there is no way of stopping him. He can’t be killed.” “Actually, he can be killed, but it would take us with him,” I state plainly. “What do you mean?” “He said he was tethered to us. Our life force is his. We all would have to die together. Needless to say, that is not an option.” He slowly shakes his head with a somber expression. “No, it is not.” “I suggest you never tell anyone of this,” Raphael says. “People might get ideas.” I close my eyes, feeling a wave of pain cross through my head. “You are not feeling well.” He puts a hand on my forehead. “I’ll let you rest,” Grimm says. “We can talk more tomorrow.” “What are we going to do?” I ask Raphael once Grimm exits the room. “I don’t know, but right now it does no good to think about it.” His hand slides to my stomach, where he
