Chapter 41

When Winnie noticed the cameraman behind her, she quickly bent down to pick up some firewood.
She smiled sweetly, knowing the camera was rolling.
“Even though it was pretty windy last night, living outside the city feels so refreshing,” she said cheerfully.
Her voice was clear and loud enough for the microphones to catch.
Then she turned toward the camera and gave a playful blink.
“I wasn’t very careful last night and almost got into trouble! So, everyone watching the livestream—don’t be reckless like me.”
She ended with a cute wink, her actions smooth and practiced.
A soft breeze touched her skin as she moved around in her thin spaghetti-strap dress.
Her pale arms brushed against the rough plants, leaving red marks that started to sting and itch.
She wanted to scratch them badly.
At that moment, she regretted not wearing long sleeves.
But long sleeves wouldn't have showcased her carefully maintained figure – the delicate curves she'd worked so hard to perfect.
