Cecilia's pov
Our journey back to the palace was lively, Micheal kept bringing up interesting conversations, the atmosphere was so lively that I didn't know when we got back.
Dorian was at the entrance of the palace, pacing back and forth like a pregnant woman. Immediately we alighted from the wagon, he rushed to us… me in particular.
“How was it? Did it go well? I hope it wasn't painful,” he was skimming through my body, acting like a caring father.
“I am fine and no, it was not painful,” I answered with a smile and I could swear that I saw a little smile on his lips.
“I am the forgotten one here, ouch I am sad,” Micheal teased with a fake pout, I laughed out loudly and unconsciously hit his shoulder. It was after my rash action that my senses came back.
“I am sorry alpha, I am honestly sorry, please forgive me,” I instantly fell on my knees to apologize. Michael gently held my shoulder and guided me back to my feet.
