Ella’s POV The journey to Forgotten Mountain took us nearly two days. Two days of driving through winding roads that seemed to run in circles. Two days of camping beneath the stars, huddled around a fire while I tried not to think about Alexander locked up in that cell. When we finally arrived at the base of the mountain on the second morning, the sun was just beginning to peek over the horizon, turning the dawn sky beautiful shades of pink and gold.
