Carrie’s Point of View
I sat in a dark room with cement walls and flooring. There was no furniture in the room, and it added to the eeriness the room was making me feel. There were two doors inside, both metal, and both on opposite ends of each other. One sat in the far-left corner of the room, and the other in the very middle. They were sealed from the outside and let no light stream through.
I don't know how long I've been sitting in this room, but it feels like an eternity. All I could do was torture myself with my thoughts and think over the day’s activities.
My mind clouded with memories as I replayed what happened today, trying to make sense of it all. Derek had taken me from the car and into this building, blindfolded.
