Carrie’s Point of View
I shook my head, as all my other injuries had been taken care of thanks to Damon. Em smiled once more and Bridgit came back into the room, holding a bag of ice with towels. She came towards me and knelt before my broken leg, while Em moved to the side. For the first time since I've been here, Bridigt spoke to me.
"This is going to hurt, the weight from the bag. But you need to hold it on your leg to keep the swelling down." She was curt and rough with her words.
As soon as she told me this, she pressed the ice lightly to my leg. I hissed in pain at the pressure put on my broken bones, but Bridgit held the ice pack in place. While she was doing this, Em circled around her and grabbed some bandages. She proceeded to wrap them around my leg, holding the ice pack in place. The more they touched my leg, the more it hurt, and the more tears started forming in my eyes. I blinked ferociously to keep them at bay, but couldn't help a few falls.
