“What do you mean, Jack? Why are you apologizing?” I furrowed my brows, but Jack kept rubbing his face over and over.
“I fucked up, okay? I admit it. Please forgive me. But I did it all for our goal.” Jack was still rambling, his words stumbling. His hands anxiously rubbed his reddened face.
