I HAVE A DATE
YRENE'S POV
"What's wrong?" I heard myself ask even though I didn't want to know anything about her. She was something long gone in my life and I didn't want to care even though I saw blood running down her face as tears.
"You can ask? Isn't all these your fault?" She suddenly blurted out. Was it just me that felt it was weird? Why would she suddenly shout at the top of her voice when I simply asked a question.
"And how is it my fault that you're crying all alone in a restroom?" I asked, raising a brow.
"Braden's having second thoughts because of you. He's yet to ask me to Halloween Night all because of you!" She screamed at me, stomping her foot on the floor.
"You're saying you want me to believe that Braden wants to ask me out to Halloween Night?" I asked, letting her know with my tone that I wasn't buying it.
"Stay out of my life, Yrene. Stop playing fat and pitiful, and…"
"I'm not playing fat and pitiful!" I cut in sharply.
