Amelia had no intention of telling Jessica about her mother's condition. After all, they weren't particularly close. So, she told Jessica everything. "Ms. Zeller, you're an expert in this field. I wanted to ask, given my mother's current condition, is going overseas for treatment really the only option? Is there no other way?" That was exactly the reason Amelia came to see Taylor. Her mother made it clear that she didn't want to go abroad, and it would be equally difficult if Amelia were to accompany her.
