Chapter 25 Your Trouble Has Nothing to Do With Me
"The Jillards are unbelievably shameless," Colton remarked with a frown. "If they keep blocking the area like this, it could be bad if they figure out who you are."
At that, Mike smoothly spoke a few words into his earpiece. Following that, two men in black suits appeared soundlessly at both ends of the hallway, sealing off the entrance to the private room.
"Mr. Lloyd, you can rest assured that not even a fly will get through."
After saying that, Mike gave Jonathan a subtle nod. His tone was polite, but there was an unmistakable edge of mockery to it. Then, he turned and pushed open the private room door.
The moment the door opened, Jonathan's gaze locked onto a figure inside. That cool, slender silhouette was, without a doubt, Madeline.
"Madeline?" he blurted out.
The door snapped shut the next second, cutting off his view.
Quinn curled her lips dismissively. "Madeline? Dad, you must be seeing things. How could she possibly be in there?"
