Chapter 164
After Clara's dramatic commentary, she took another sip of her coffee, only to find her mug empty. She glanced at Jasmine's mug and said, "Let's go refill our coffee. The people here might be snobs, but I'll give them this. The coffee's actually decent."
Jasmine nodded in agreement. They headed to the pantry room for a refill. On their way out, they ran into Yvette.
Yvette walked straight down the middle and deliberately bumped into them.
Clara reacted quickly. Some coffee splashed out, but luckily, none of it landed on her or burned her.
Jasmine, however, wasn't so lucky. Hot coffee splashed over the back of her hand, soaking through her clothes.
Yvette offered a fake smile. "Oops. Sorry. Didn't mean to."
Jasmine knew she had connections and didn't want to make a scene. She decided it was better to let it go, especially with so many TV staff around who might take sides.
