Chapter 192
"Grace, cut it out. No more drinks," Henry blocked Grace, who was clearly wasted, stopping her from pouring herself another shot.
"Who even are you? Why do you care?" Grace slurred, waving his hand off in a daze.
Henry let out a sigh—headache incoming. She was so drunk she couldn't even recognize him anymore.
She'd gotten drunk with him, after all. He couldn't walk away now.
"You've had enough. Come on, I'm taking you home." He grabbed her by the arm, ignoring her weak resistance as he helped her out. Their awkward exit earned them more than a few stares from others.
"I'm not going back!" Grace shook herself out of his grip once they reached the street, wobbling toward the sidewalk.
Henry shook his fuzzy head, catching her arm again. His own balance wasn't great either—he was definitely drunk, and it wouldn't take much for him to crash.
And with Grace stumbling around like that, it wasn't just risky—it was dangerous.
