Now that he thought about it more carefully, Theodore realized Isabella had indeed been acting kinda off. Ignoring the curious look on Henry's face, Theodore quickly left and headed straight for Isabella's new place. He first drove to her old apartment but, obviously, she wasn't there anymore. Left with no other option, he gave her a call. "Theo, you finally remembered me," Isabella answered almost instantly, her voice packed with excitement and a faint trace of bitterness. "You don't live there now?" Theodore's tone was flat, like her enthusiasm hadn't even registered. But Isabella didn't notice anything strange. To her, Theodore had always been a bit distant anyway. Plus, he hadn't contacted her in forever—him reaching out was already a huge surprise, and honestly, it warmed her heart. "You went to look for me there?" Her tone lit up. She thought maybe he was starting to miss her. "I moved. The new address is..." Hearing her say that, Theodore frowned slightly. It was odd to him that
