Stravia was much bigger than he thought, and much scarier, too.
The extreme weather conditions and sudden snowstorms caused him to collapse amongst the icy landscape every time he tried to walk any further.
He was already so cold that he was losing consciousness, but he kept telling himself not to die before he found me.
That was the driving force behind him using the last of his energy to send out a signal for help.
